"We loved the property and the location, 5 minutes away from Wegmans(!) and from the turnpike. Easy to get to and easy to get back on the road. Way better than a hotel for sure. Nice fenced in yard for a dog (watch out for the neighbors dog though, he's a sneaky one), which backs up to a public path which was perfect for a morning walk. If I find myself traveling through the DC area again, I'll be staying here if it's available.."

"Our visit to our daughter’s home in Alexandria for theThanksgiving holiday was made super special by our stay at Mark’s house. Mark made the processes of check in and out easy and was very attentive during our stay. The house was roomy and well equipped for our adult family and in a friendly, well kept neighborhood with ample street parking. Having a fenced in backyard for our small dogs was extremely convenient. We would definitely like to stay at Mark’s again on future visits to Alexandria."

"The property was very nice and spacious. It was a newer updated property with nice ammenities. It is located in a nice neighborhood with walking distance to shopping, bars and resteraunts. Only issue was parking. While there is a private parking area it is located in a small alley and it could be difficult to park a larger vehicle. The property owner was responsive and helped with the parking issue. I would recommend this property and would stay here again."

"The Unit was nice enough. We had everything that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there. We never felt unsafe. Just be aware that the final check in procedure was a invasion of privacy. I did not complete this step. I booked the unit based on an early check in time of 12:00. Of course this became a problem. Communication within their system is not good."

This home was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do. The landlord is friendly and helpful. The property is safe and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay and we all were sad to leave. Major plus - There are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance. "

"My husband and I stayed from 10/19-11/1 and enjoyed our stay. It was steps away from King St with all the restaurants and close to the Potomac River. There are also various shops and several walking tours. I provided feedback to the owner upon our departure. The space is not “short people” friendly as the shower stream was very high and there were no mirrors that we could use as those were high as well. The bed area did not have shelves to use for our phones to be within reach and the internet...

"We enjoyed how close this place is to the old town Alexandria. It is located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood. The free bus made it easy to head to old town for dinner and sight seeing. Unfortunately we were there during unusually hot weather. The central air struggled to keep up. The window units were helpful but loud. Small details would make this place even better, such as replacing some broken blinds and fixing falling curtains."

"The suite, bedroom and living room are divided by a bathroom and kitchenette (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, sink). The suite is clean and fresh smelling with in room control of heat and cooling, it was excellent. You couldn't ask more of the breakfast with made to order omelettes and pancakes. Included with the room we enjoyed a drink or two from the bar. Parking is below ground directly accessible from the hotel atrium. Access to public transportation buses and m train literally directly across the road from the hotel main entrance. We used the train to access the Washington DC museums. I strongly recommend this hotel and would most definitely stay again."
