"The owner was able to accommodate my request of having a gathering of friends on the holiday weekend. Communication was good as he was accessible. Basement not included so be mindful for complete privacy you’ll have to pay more. The cost to host was also additional but understandable as most properties wouldnt allow parties of any sort.Very spacious and clean, would stay again "

"We loved the property and the location, 5 minutes away from Wegmans(!) and from the turnpike. Easy to get to and easy to get back on the road. Way better than a hotel for sure. Nice fenced in yard for a dog (watch out for the neighbors dog though, he's a sneaky one), which backs up to a public path which was perfect for a morning walk. If I find myself traveling through the DC area again, I'll be staying here if it's available.."

"The property was very nice and spacious. It was a newer updated property with nice ammenities. It is located in a nice neighborhood with walking distance to shopping, bars and resteraunts. Only issue was parking. While there is a private parking area it is located in a small alley and it could be difficult to park a larger vehicle. The property owner was responsive and helped with the parking issue. I would recommend this property and would stay here again."

Just be aware that the final check in procedure was a invasion of privacy. I did not complete this step. I booked the unit based on an early check in time of 12:00. Of course this became a problem. This home was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do. The landlord is friendly and helpful. The property is safe and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay and we all were sad to leave. Major plus - There are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance. "

The house was big and the host brought in some extra items for our cooking needs which was so kind. "We enjoyed how close this place is to the old town Alexandria. It is located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood. The free bus made it easy to head to old town for dinner and sight seeing. Unfortunately we were there during unusually hot weather. The central air struggled to keep up. The window units were helpful but loud. Small details would make this place even better, such as replacing some broken blinds and fixing falling curtains."

"Good location at the head of the King St. restaurant/shopping area. Room was quiet and comfortable, after we switched! Original room's bed shared a wall with the "Electrical Room" which emitted a low, loud hum all night. Impossible to sleep. We were able to change with no problem. Shower excellent, hot water, good pressure, soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. Sink water pressure very low, however, not much more than a trickle. All in all a very pleasant stay."
