"It was Mardi Gras week! The staff was very busy however they were meeting the needs of each and every guest that came to the desk. Neither of my three rooms were ready at check-in time and I was patient and waited for them to have a room for me later in the evening- no problem and the front desk staff front desk staff gave us suggestions for things to do until my rooms were ready. Really appreciated that. The breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were amazing! I always love staying at the Sonesta and will continue to tell my friends and family to do the same."

"The Intercontinental Hotel aims to please. We arrived very early due to an early flight. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we explored the city. Ii received a call from the hotel before 12:30pm to inform us our room was ready, 3 1/2 hours early! We made our way back to the room, took a much needed nap, cleaned up and headed back out for the night. Staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious and the balcony is an added bonus. I would recommend this hotel to future travelers. "
