Welcome to THE BEECH HOUSE!
The House:
Enter via the circular driveway off of the paved road with easy access to the front door and plenty of flat parking for multiple cars. Go up only two small steps to the covered porch that leads to the front door. Making this home easy access for older guests.
Once inside, you are welcomed to the main floor with an open concept living space which includes the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Cozy up on the leather couch in the living room in front of the fireplace and catch up on your favorite show or curl up with your book. Enjoy making meals in the well stocked kitchen which includes a coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar, large crock pot for easy meals, and large griddle for a yummy pancake breakfast. Air Fryer for on the go nights. Also, on this floor is a queen bedroom and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. From the living room you can walk out on the large covered porch with a gas grill, bar top and seating to enjoy dinner with a view, lounge chairs, and a large Sofa/chair seating area to relax and take in the Mountain views.
Go up the stairs and you find 2 bedrooms. (1 King, 1 Queen) and a full bathroom with tub/shower/combo. The Queen bedroom also has a private workstation with a small desk.
Head back to the main floor and then downstairs to the basement floor for 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom with large tiled shower. The first bedroom has a full bunkbed with twin trundle. The other bedroom has a twin size bunkbed with twin pull out trundle. This room also serves as the game room with a large TV, gaming system, arcade style video game, foosball table. The futon couch also folds out for an additional sleeping area if needed. Off of this room is the garage that leads to the lower level deck. Here you will find the large hot tub and lounging area.
Walk out of the garage of lower level door to the flat yard space which is perfect for outdoor games or sit and relax in one of the two large swings surrounding the fire pit area while the kids enjoy the built in hillside slide and log climb. Take in the beautiful seasonal mountain views.
Several hiking rails are within walking distance from the home including Upper Pond Trail. The Emerald Outback trail system is also located on Beech Mountain and includes over 8 miles of trails near the summit.
A short 1- mile drive will take you to the Beech Mountain Ski resort which includes the ski slopes, mountain biking trails, scenic chair lift, disc golf course, and the Beech Mountain Brewing Co. Taproom and Grill. Check out the Beech Mountain Ski Resort website for all of the fun events going on and for info on skiing and tubing.
Also up the road at the top of the mountain is the free kids sledding hill located behind the Brick Oven Pizza restaurant.
Let the kids try out the Mountaineers Adventure Tower with 3 levels of climbing fun, and a 25' corkscrew slide. Open from May- October.
Catch a summer concert during the concert series or ride the Beech Mountain Lift to the top for a unforgettable sunset dinner with live music and breathtaking views.

You will enjoy the entire home and surrounding property. Relax in the hot tub or enjoy the fire pit out by the swings. Eat dinner on the outdoor bar while enjoying the view. The easy access to the main level of the home allows for older ones to also enjoy a visit without excessive stairs.
Other things to note:
Minimum age to rent is 25 years old.
Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. For your safety, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This requires 4WD, good tires, and/or snow chains. It is the guests responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be no reimbursement or rescheduling as a result of weather conditions.
Beech Mountain rest at over 5,500 feet in elevation. The road to the top of the mountain is curvy and steep in certain areas. However, it is a state maintained road and highly trafficked all seasons of the year.

Bears do live on the mountain, therefore, all trash must be bagged and placed inside of metal bear box. Do not leave food in your car and always lock your car doors. No food allowed in the refrigerator located in garage this is for beverages only due to bear activity.
