Tylney House is a beautiful, historic home comprising 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, an elegant living and dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Set over 3 floors, this important house was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen (Earl Tylney) once lived here. Jane Autin is said to have visited the house.

Tylney House is the most centrally located holiday let in Bath, yet tucked away on a quiet street near Queen’s Square. Bath is a compact city and being in the very centre everywhere is just a short stroll. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa, excellent restaurants & eclectic shops are all a short stroll. Even the train station and Royal Crescent are less than a 10-minute walk.

Tylney House has 4 good-sized bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 12 guests.

We have a large family bathroom and a shower room on the top floor.

For your convenience, there is a bathroom/toilet on each floor.

All the beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and are made with crisp super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep. To maximise the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined to form super-king beds.

SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms:

1st Bedroom: Four single beds (or two super-king beds) plus futon - sleeps 5

2nd Bedroom: Double bed - sleeps 2

3rd Bedroom: Two single beds (or super-king bed) - sleeps 2

4th Bedroom: Two single beds (or a super-king bed) - sleeps 2

Living Room: Comfortable futon bed -fold away during day time to maximise space - sleeps 1
