"This hotel/restaurant was in a little village that was absolutely gorgeous. The area had several hiking paths which unfortunately we could not go on. For us it was a thrill to be in this town and the diner they cooked for us was exquisite. Home made. The host/manager was very good, cordial and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place. "

"The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. The building itself needs lots of maintenance and the rooms need some updating, but the experience was great. We met beautiful people and that was priceless. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were extremely nice. Happy New Year, Happy 2025"

"This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance.
