Apartments in Cardrona

"The apartment was large, with a full kitchen, comfortable lounge area with fire, very comfortable bed and a large bathroom which included both a bath and separate shower. The views were absolutely amazing! Everything was extremely clean, it was very quiet and parking was provided. It is an easy short walk into the centre (uphill on the way back). Our stay here was unfortunately cut short due to Cyclone Alfred, as our flights were cancelled twice. Rene and his team were amazing and very understanding. Communication with them was excellent and they went out of their way to try to accomodate us when our dates had to change. We can certainly recommend Highview apartments and will definitely stay here again whenever we get the chance."

"Stated for three nights. Short walk to the water’s edge and lots of restaurants. Washer and dryer in room came in handy. Only thing I didn’t like was the $25 charge for parking. "

"Very convenient location, especially for less-mobile family members. Hotel had everything you need and their staff were very quick to help your every requirement if you wanted to book activities. Very safe location (you can park your car outside for free between 6pm-9am and it is very safe). Great bar with lots of activity and excellent buffet for breakfast and menu for dinner. Would definitely stay again."

"We enjoyed the location, except for the lack of parking spaces. The rooms were good, but the coffee bags provided should probably be at least two for a room for two. It was a quick five minute walk to the Kawarau River track which is great."

"The Lakeside rooms have a beautiful view of the lake. Offerings at the restaurant/bar were enjoyable and creative. Somewhat limited selection for lunch/dinner but we had four different mains and all were excellent. We parked in the underground garage which has limited parking although not a problem finding spots during the end of March. Mattress in bed was very nice for sleeping and all the other amenities were good. No microwave in the room type I chose, I think it was the only stay in NZ without a microwave."
