"This charming historic hotel on the main 6 highway was an enjoyable stay for one night. One had to eat there as there were no other restaurants nearby, but the dinner was excellent and the restaurant/bar area pleasant. The continental breakfast was adequate. However as they had kept the 1876 hotel in keeping with the age of the property the furniture in the room was old and bulky and hence used up a great deal of available space in the room. There was a TV but it was very small."

There is no closet nor shelving for storing the luggage or hang clothing for longer stays however they might have larger room with storage capacity for extended stays. The laundry facility is superb. The kitchen is large and clean. Highly recommended as it is the only affordable place in Greymouth and it is my j better than other hostels or even hotels in the southern part. "
