Pros: - good breakfast - good downstairs area - Location - bathrooms in family suit was good size - friendly staff Cons - rooms are bit cramped for family (family suit) but assume this may be the case for most hotels near they city - rooms were not cleaned regularly - some days they were attended to some days not ( not sure what the hotel policy for cleaning rooms was)"

"Good place. Restaurant on site great as well. One lady at the front desk was really nice. Thank you. I did not get her name. Delivery of mail was great as well. Convenient PACKSTATION right in front of the properties and apartments. Side walk and nearby places are good. Laundry on site is clean. Gas station on the corner has plenty of groceries and items to stock the apartment. Anything else. Cleaning crew obedient and here when they are needed. I recommend using their gloves...

"I started in one of the larger apartments, which mercifully does not face the busy motorway in the other side of the building. The kitchenette is well equipped. There are some maintenance issues, such as the shower drain being clogged with hair (yuck) and the shower head being almost completely broken. The place could do with a regular schedule of repairs."

"My <1 year old child, wife and I travelled to Munich for 4-5 days, and stayed at Brera. It was a bit further away from the city center, but easy to access via public transportation and great value for what we paid. The laundry room is also well equipped, and the staff is very friendly. The entire building top to bottom was spotless! We would gladly return."

"The room was great, both in terms of cleanliness and price. Very modern and the kitchenette came with everything you could need to cook which really saved us some money. The only bad thing about this property is the location. It got a little sketchy at night and the women I was with were catcalled both nights we were there by men on the walk from the train to our hotel. It was to the point where we wanted to be back in the hotel before 9pm."

"Location was a bit weird but hotel was beautiful. Room had everything you need and was clean. Stayed here for the laundry and it was fine but had to wait hours for a machine because they use 4/6 machines to wash rags for the hotel and wash and dry take about 5-6 hours so not the most convenient but it is free. "

"I would highly recommend Platzl Hotel if you plan on visiting Munich. I extensively researched Munich hotels and was so happy I chose Platzl. We arrived early, unannounced, just hoping the desk would be able to store our luggage. Peter and Adrian, at reception, were so friendly and accommodating. They performed a quick search and were able to check us into our room early. This set the tone for the way our stay evolved. We booked one of the smaller suites and it was a perfect for a 5 night stay. The room was immaculately clean, contemporary design and luxurious bathroom. We purchased the breakfast in advance and highly recommend that you do. It is worth the cost. Endless healthy choices, German specialties, freshly baked breads, mimosas, fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly prepared omelettes, breakfast smoothies, etc. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to most attractions and shopping in Munich, but yet nestled in a spot that felt quiet and safe. There is an underground parking garage for an additional fee that was very convenient. We utilized the sauna and gym, both perfectly sized and equipped for a hotel. The mini bar was complementary and stocked with waters and other beverages during our stay. Also, Nespresso coffee machine is always a plus! I can go on and on about the hotel amenities and the professionalism and kindness of the staff. But, I will end it here by saying we will return to Platzl Hotel and recommend it to everyone visiting Munich. "
