"Had great time. Great food and service and a wonderful Christmas atmosphere. We found it relaxing sand ideally situation location wise for walking and use of the Hatherssge outdoor pool just 5/10 mins walk from the hotel. A must of you stay at the George. Only recently reopened in June 2024 means it is fresh with tasteful decor. Recommend highly and enjoy."

"This was a brilliant hotel for dog walkers. Had fantastic facilities such as shower for the dogs after a long muddy walk. The retreat was a lovely addition for you to go and unwind and enjoy a coffee after a long day. Tori who worked the reception was a lovely lady, very welcoming. Rolo our dog loved seeing her. Added bonus was when Rolo got to meet Santa. Would highly recommend this hotel"
