"A warm welcome from the check in staff and then to find my room had a lovely view out over the golf course. The room was a junior suite. An exceptionally comfy bed, a large rain shower, a huge sofa, and a Nespresso machine were among the facilities on offer. Breakfast was served in Calder’s bistro. I got a lovely table by the window and my order was taken quickly and arrived equally quickly. Fantastic pancake stack with blueberries and maple syrup. The only blight on the horizon was the toast...

"Beautiful hotel and situation so close to beach. Rooms were lovely, spacious & very clean. Food in bar was also good as was breakfast. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Staff were also very friendly and helpful"

"Absolutely perfect stay until the morning we left. There was no hot water at all so no one in the hotel could have bath /shower. Felt it was dealt with very slowly still not fixed when we checked out at 11am. Not much of an apology from front of house. "
