"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"This hotel had the most amazing night staff. He bent over backwards when we arrived late from our flight, personally making us food and serving drinks after the kitchen closed. We got great recommendations and the breakfasts and dinners were fantastic. We got an upgraded room with an picturesque view of the lake at sunrise. It's a fantastic place!"

"A good location near the city but away from the noise and lights. The view from our windows were great. The best thing though is the people! Anna had lots of friendly advice and helpful suggestions and Birita was lovely. The owner also introduced himself."

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"We ended our 2 week road trying on Ring Road here. We wanted a warm place to come back to after going to the Blue Lagoon. My boyfriend took a shower and neither drain worked. The bathroom completely flooded and went into the carpet of the main room. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and asked to move to a different room but all were booked. I’m glad we found out before the blue lagoon so I was luckily able to shower there. I wish I went down to ask for a partial refund since the main reason we...
