"Visited for our 32nd wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Booked a classic double room but when we arrived were informed that they upgraded us to an executive room which was really large and immaculately prepared. We had use of the spa facilities if needed for additional cost but free use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna for 1 hour per day which made for a relaxing time after a long walk around York. "Sophisticated hotel with a nice mixture of contemporary and modern features located a short distance from the city walls and train station. Upon entry the reception, lobby, dining and bar areas are impressive displaying hardwood panelled walls, stained glass windows and various antiques. We never got to dine there but did use the bar a few times and the service was very good. "Lovely stay at this hotel which is conveniently situated to get around Harrogate on foot. Good parking under the hotel too. Credit to the cleaning staff who do a great job keeping rooms to a high standard! "

"It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Walking along the lake is beautiful. There's lots of nice activities too so especially for children. We took a speed boat in the lake which was exciting. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the minigolf, playing ping pong and the arcade. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We'll definitely be going again :)"

"Always great when we stay at the little hide. We have been a few times just me and my fellas little getaway. Its our peace place with out the kiddies. Lovely and quite this time of year. Was on the cold side with the weather but the heater in the pod was amazeing at keeping you toastie. The only down fall for me was the magpie that seemd to haunt me whilst there hahaha. Really funny. The cafe food is excellent good price. Absolutely love this place."
