"Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...

I found everything i was looking for & more: a friendly helpful landlady, a very comfy spotless room with beautiful charming decor & a 24/7 sea view from my window. This singular is spacious enough for my yoga mat. There are Cooplans and another lovely bakery shop in very close proximity. 10 min walking to the town center, 5 descending to the North Bay. How about sitting in your comfy chair with a cuppa watching regatta withing sunset?"

"Great B n B in a fab position just near the whale bone arch. We had top floor sea view room, nice n quiet (not good for less mobile) the lady owner had e mailed beforehand to check we were ok with stairs(we are). Shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, with heated towel rail. Plenty of plug sockets to go at. Tcmf and biscuits in the room, along with wine glasses and tumblers. Hairdryer in the drawer. "What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"A great place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for the one night of our stay. Lovely served breakfast by a really pleasant girl who was on her own but remained calm and efficient under pressure. Two small criticisms,couldn’t find plain old terrestrial tv but everything else available and the “garden room” we booked turned out to be the front garden on to the main road. "Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem."
