"It was a lovely old house in Miraflores. It was old therefore, not modern but that added to the beauty. It was clean however , although as in some places in Peru, I have learned that you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet. Paco was very helpful in suggesting places to go and how to get there...thank you! 🙏 Location was great and taxis very affordable in getting around. Nice for a short stay."

This honesty is further out form the other home stays, closer to where they originally were located which means you get less tour boats driving past and privacy. "We stayed here before and after our Inca Trail hike. We really enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel as it is comprised of only a few rooms. Therefore, it is quiet and relaxing. We also enjoyed our host and owner as he was great at conversation so there was never a dull moment. He prepares breakfast for you in the morning (which is filling and nutritious). The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the plaza de armas so you are close to the action. "
