"I already submitted a review, then came back and stayed one more night. The room had a dehumidifier in it. For good reason. A lot of moisture and smelled like mildew. It was cold so we grabbed a blanket from the closet. So stinky with mildew. This room was 108, our previous room was 816, no mildew or complaints. Don’t expect a spa treatment, don’t think too many people order them and when I wanted a facial, they tried to get their staff to work… no takers. "

"Staff is attentive. Rooms clean. Hotel is still under construction. Automatic light systems a bit annoying in the bathroom for 3:00 am use. Area is rural, quiet but some jet noise landing at airport. Overall, recommended for budget accommodations. "

"Everything about this hotel was exactly as pictured and described. We stayed in a townhouse room which was very spacious. The decor was very charming, beds were comfy, and the bathrooms are beautifully appointed. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! The food was nicely prepared and we even received to go breakfast boxes for our 12:40am departure. Excellent value and service."

"The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of many of the main sites in the Historical Center. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple caveats… if you are in room 8, there is a lot of road noise at all times of the day and night. The floors are very creaky. "

"Lovely, modern hotel near the airport. Great food selection and the rooms are lovely. I had the 2 room - 1 1/2 bath - the closet and bathroom are very large. I really enjoyed my stay. The only not quite perfect is the hot tub and steam room aren’t very hot. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Swissotel! It was a perfect place to relax after a trip to the Galapagos. We had the added bonus of sharing the hotel with the Barcelona Soccer (Football) team. We are thankful for the Concierge service and the hotel driver that helped us get last minute tickets to the Football game. Amazing breakfast buffet as well!!"

"The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"
