"We had a lovely stay at Casa de Vista Alta in Mindo. It's a gorgeous property in a stunning location, high up on a hill, surrounded by a bird-filled cloud forest. You eat what they have, you do what they offer, etc. No roaming about looking for restaurants, shops, etc. Power issues meant no internet most of the time and I had to pay cash ($1500) for the stay and the spa treatments.
