"Best hotel in the Otavalo area, with an outstanding view and a very caring service. The fireplace was a particularly nice touch that you don't often find in hotels. While the location and the staff cannot be faulted, the hotel clearly need some renovations in the spa and common areas. Also the rooms could do with a bit more equipment (although the staff did provide everything we asked for). The two local guardian dogs Mia and Tia are incredibly friendly, and the surrounding area is very nice...

"Absolutely wonderful property! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. I booked very last minute and late at night and the owner had arranged for a taxi to pick me up from airport after midnight. "We chose the lodge on the recommendation of our tour guide company as a retreat to chill out after a busy 8 days visiting the Galapagos and Amazonia. It was indeed a relaxing location where my wife took advantage of the resort spa and I was able to enjoy the scenic walks and spot a few bird varieties. The food and hospitality was good. A few of the treks were restricted and that was the only negative point."
