"Love the property. We stayed in one of the renovated pool villas which was nicely done. We could see some parts of the resort needs renovation and updating. Warm and welcoming service. Housekeeping a little inconsistent and can be improved. Restaurant bookings also can be managed better. There could more choices of outlets for lunch and due to CNY, breakfast was a little chaotic, maybe open up one more outlet to accommodate the overflow of guests during breakfast? Beautiful setting and grounds....

"Amazing property with fun activities for kids and a very clean and safe beach with few free water sports activities. We were 4 families and it was lot of fun with kayaking, swimming along with yummy breakfast and very delicious Indian restaurant. The chef Atul was our saviour in the restaurant 😀"

"The Slate resort is a beautiful and unique property. Staff is professional and friendly. Plenty of onsite pools. Beach is public and just behind the hotel. Small local market vendors line the street between beach and resort. Many dining options at hotel and across the street on the beach. "

"Loved the L’esprit. A tucked away hidden gem. A little removed from the mainstream beach so peaceful. Only neg were no free coffee in lobby. In room was instant. Pool cleanliness was not the best. The “huckleberry raft” to get beach was an adventure. Had to take bolt at night because no lights on path back from town for safety sake But all in all loved it and even brought rest of family and some from wedding party there for last few days of stay. "I loved the staff and their hospitality. The beauty of the hotel. The views and the options of dinning. Oh, and they were very thoughtful. They remembered things like, portable speaker, the bag in the closet, the adaptor for pulls and the welcoming drinks at the bar. There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel. We plan to return and to the same villa that we stayed in this year. "
