"I gave up on reviews that say how clean a property was. This rental was truly clean! The surroundings were not pleasant (yet properties in February in New York are all pretty war torn). There were only two of us who stayed this trip and the two bedrooms were nice, however, the living room area only had seating for 3 or a very close together seating for 4. The hosts went out of their way to try to make everything convenient and pleasant. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mallard Cottage. Views from the deck were spectacular, witnessed a full moon rising in the East and delighted in the beautiful end of day light glowing in the fields below. The cottage was bright and airy with several windows affording views and natural light. Clean and cozy and had everything we could possibly need. . "

"The property photos and descriptions are mostly accurate. The 4 main house bedrooms are all good size and the beds were extremely comfortable. The annex apartment was nicely appointed, the only issue is that everyone in our family is tall, and the loft bed with its low ceiling was a bit challenging. "Our grandson attends the School of Hotel Management at Cornell University. He was able to get us a three level upgrade on floor nine. We had a beautiful view of the campus with a peek at the lake. Had a wonderful dinner at the upscale restaurant. "
