"This charming historic hotel on the main 6 highway was an enjoyable stay for one night. One had to eat there as there were no other restaurants nearby, but the dinner was excellent and the restaurant/bar area pleasant. The continental breakfast was adequate. However as they had kept the 1876 hotel in keeping with the age of the property the furniture in the room was old and bulky and hence used up a great deal of available space in the room. There was a TV but it was very small."

The manager is a very pleasant knowledgeable man who is ver welcoming and vested in giving guests valuable information about hiking, points of interest etc., the shared kitchen facilities were well-equipped and provided everything you would need to prepare a meal.
