"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

"Good hotel for an overnight stay. Lots of convenient parking. Easy check in/out, and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit uncomfortable. Food at breakfast was okay - a bit overcooked, and limited in the healthier options. "

"Food was excellent. Room was very comfortable. My usual bugbear is staffing and service but at this hotel I'd say 100 percent is selling them short . Could not ask for better service particularly in the savvy fox restaurant. Will definitely be staying here again. Only downside was we were only staying 1 night. Well done. "

"Rooms very spacious and comfortable. The communal areas especially the restaurant were not very warm. Very limited space for guests to enjoy a drink in the evening. There is a bar area outside of the restaurant but it was not staffed. Staff were very efficient and friendly."

"Lovely hotel, very clean and staff Lovely. Used the spa which was nice but noticed the ice room needs some TLC (Mosiac tiles everywhere) and the seating in one sauna was broke. Food was high quality and tasty. Pillows were so comfy and the room had high end ELEMIS Toiletries. Overall a great stay. "

"The room and inside of the hotel were fab. It was very comfortable and clean. Don’t be put off by a dated exterior. The inside is lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was good quality - no complaints. The park and ride is right next door for an easy trip into Chester. We had a happy stay. "

"We are a family of 3, stayed for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel is lovely, clean and quiet. We all slept well as there were no noise of banging doors, people walking in the hallway and no street noise either. Location is great as close to carpark, Albert Docks and the shopping mall. Nice restaurants around but we ate in the hotel. The food is delicious especially the breakfast. The size of the room is good. There are plenty of storage space. The bed is comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends who would like to visit Liverpool."

The best stay at the beautiful Grosvenor hotel

"On Wednesday the 19th of February, my sister and I had the great pleasure of staying at this stunning hotel in Chester . From start to finish , even during the booking stage of our stay , was absolutely incredible. The care and attention the three beautiful girls gave us at reception was second to none . You were my absolute angels ,as it was a very important stay , reuniting with my sister after over 50 years apart. When we arrived on the day of our stay , there was thdxwarmest welcome and a caring hug. They really did share our joy . They had chosen a beautiful room overlookung the street , a beautiful breakfast was kindly organised for us , and a hand written card poetlically put together for this special occasion. The beautiful room was welcoming and warm, a gorgeous bathroom complete with Elemis bath products . I want to thank my three angels on reception ,for both Tuesday evening helping me to secure my stay and on the Wednesday when we arrived. I will never forget the contribution you all made to make this experience something really unforgettable. Your service is absolutely incredible and i will be returning again soon. Much love to you all. Marie mayo. "
