I absolutely loved my stay at the Market Street Hotel! The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. When I left something very important back at the room, they did everything they could and figured a way to get it back to me before I headed back home to the states. Location is ideal, close to everything. Breakfast is very good with a daily cup of champagne, with an amazing view on the city. Room is very comfortable with free mini-bar refiles everyday. First time I see a Dyson hair dryer and ghd in a hotel! You are welcomed with a class if champagne, and you can also enjoy another one on the terrasse once per stay. Lovely stay!

The accommodations are lovely. First and foremost is the staff. We were greeted with attentiveness, friendliness, and champagne! The location is very central, near Waverly Train Station which separates Old Town from New Town. We took a train to Pitlochry for a couple of days, and the hotel was even kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we were gone. This may well be our new favorite place to stay in Edinburgh in the future. Highly recommend it.
