"Enjoyed our stay at the Ates Hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Room was also very quiet, with window shutters that blocked all the light, so slept well. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from. Service upon arrival and during stay was excellent. Hotel parking was ok and parked without issue. Used as a base to visit Strasbourg. "Unfortunately I did not realize that there was no toilet or shower in the hotel room when I reserved it. The toilets shared by the entire floor did not have a sink, soap, or water to wash your hands. Also, there were no trash cans in the toilet rooms so women who have that time of the month have to grab their items and leave the bathroom with them in their hands - incredibly unhygienic and undignified.
