Difficult to find and difficult to reach,no parkin
The rooms or cabins were much smaller than the pictures indicated with tiny bathroom. I was on the main deck level with the path through the park and had runners tramps etc passing non stop.

Stayed here for an overnight layover since the airport hotels are sooo expensive. Did not know it was a boat, but everything turned out fine. hotels.com had issues with my reservation, but hotel staff were able to fix everything. Quiet location along the river. The standard rooms are very small, but since i just needed a bed, i was very happy.

Nice boat and location, but everything was broken
Unlike most reviews, I knew this was a boat beforehand. It was easy to find and not too hard to get from the street to the boat. Some taxis will even pick you up right on the water if they know how to get there. The boat and rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good as well. The stay itself was not ideal though. The Wifi was awful. It constantly kicked you off and even when using it, it was slow. Made it impossible to do work. Every time we mentioned it, someone said they would have the technician fix it. It never got any better though. Additionally, there was a full day where the whole boat did not have any hot water. We were there during the end of November, so this made for very miserable showers. They did fix it the next day though and there were issues after that. Lastly, the heat on the boat was not very good either. The hallways were very cold and at one point the heaters in the rooms also stopped working. So, yet another thing that needed fixing during a 3 days stay. In short, very nice place and great location, but nothing seemed to work when we needed it.

It's not a hotel, it's a boat.
We were not aware that this was a boat when we booked but once we realised we thought it might be quite an interesting place to stay. The novelty wore off pretty quickly. The rooms are tiny, as you'd expect of a cabin, and so were the beds and pillows. Breakfast was only served until 9.30 despite the website stating 10am. We were not informed of this until we tried to sit down for breakfast at 9.40. The tv and Wi-Fi did not work and the bathroom flooded with every shower. The worst part of our stay was the fact that we were asked to check out by 8.30 on our last day as they needed to move the boat. Not ideal given our flight was not departing until 8pm and we had nowhere to store our luggage.

Hotel was ok, room was rather small and breakfast was awful, however a good location to explore Frankfurt. Had to check out after the early after the first night of a 2 night stay, as we woke up to find a note under our door telling us we had to check out by 8:30 on a Sunday morning, which was not told about when booking, front desk very unhelpful when we requested a refund and had to go to Hotels.com for the refund.

Great stay
We had a great time while we stayed on the William Shakespeare’s boat. Staff were helpful and the accommodation and breakfast were great. The only disappointment for use was we could not eat in the restaurant because there was a function on Friday and closed Saturday. Also we had to leave the boat by 8.30am on Sunday morning because they were moving the boat, which was not good for us as we were only flying home later on that day, so we had to walk round killing time. Overall we did have a great stay and would stay again.

Definately worth a try!
I went for the Christmas markets and wanted to stay somewhere nearby. Why stay in a standard hotel when you stay onboard a boat. I cam honestly say that the boat was spotless, the staff really friendly and helpful too. The breakfast was hot, lovely and fresh. I would definately stay again. The bar area was very homely, it was lovely to sit in here at the end of the day and relax with a drink

Knew it was a boat, loved it.
Knowing it was a boat really did help. Was very relaxing, staff were fantastic. Was not the busy season. The breakfast in the dining area was great, very surreal looking over the water at the water level as you're having breakfast. A great welcome to Germany moment. Wifi was less than desirable, difficult to log in to and then rather unstable, but was still able to update facebook and check emails using it.

It was ok, it was not mentioned its a ship while booking and also it was advertised as 5 stars which it was not even close. Overall, if you don't care about small rooms (because it's a ship), and being on a ship, it was ok. The reception seems like does not have any experience of being a reception, again can't complain because it wasn't a hotel, however, beside reception that was not helpful at all and rude there was another guy (I guess some sort of a manager) he was great, when he heard my conversation with reception that I have a problem with my room noise he immediately made sure that they will change my room to a better room thanks to him.

On the blustery beautiful water
Even though our stay was short, the manager was fantastic. Upgraded our room. Personally showed us ship features, very nice clean beautiful ship. Food was excellent too. First class experience!

Wonderful boat, lovely location
We booked this hotel/boat during a conference in Frankfurt. Knowing well that it was a boat we were going to be staying on. We upgraded to a suite type room and we were not disappointed. What a lovely surprise. From checkin to checkout, the staff were great. We even asked to switch to the river side of the boat, and they accommodated us. We had a balcony, and while it was winter in Frankfurt, it was lovely to stand on the balcony overlooking the city and river. The room/suite was very large, and lovely bathroom. We ate breakfast each morning, and the have a huge selection of food. They should open a hotel. They know what they're doing!

Warning: ITS A BOAT THAT NOT ALWAYS THERE
WARNING: it's a boat. The boat it self was amazing and very valuable for the money. BUT, I didn't know it's a boat, no where in the reservation it was saying that, I was looking for an hotel that wasn't in the specific address. Had to ask people on the street if they know it (a tourist without any access to internet) and only a random bartender in a close by restaurant told me that it's a boat and THAT SHES NOT HERE RIGHT NOW.(I was the 15th person coming to ask about this hotel) No one knew or had an option to find out when they're coming back. Instead of showering after my flight, I had to stay out with all my bags on me(!) and walk around the city in the rain from 1pm to 6:30pm. IRRESPONSIBLE! From the other side: The stuff was nice, the room was clean and comfortable, hot water, great view, and nice breakfast. Really bad wifi. I'll recommend it if they'll stop shipping without any warning.

had 2 problems with commumication one was they had to leave port to go get water and was an hour late getting back so my wife went to go to a store to wait not knowing not to go to the other side of a bridge because it was a heavy drug area and stepped on a needle and have to spent most of the night getting treated for HIV that cost $2,000.00. I'm not blaming the boat hotel but I wish they had informed us of the neighborhood. they carried her to the doctor and hospital to get her care.
