"It was a nice place to stay. But breakfast - not so much. They were out of eggs, bacon and sausage and waffle batter. He did replenish the eggs, bacon and sausage but they were still cold. The water pressure in the shower was low which didn’t bother me but my husband and din would have liked a bit more water pressure. It was easy to get to and was in a nice location. We would consider staying here again."

"My family stayed at Joel‘s home on Lake Palestine was nothing short of wonderful. The owners were very kind people who went above and beyond to make my family comfortable for a long weekend at their cabin. I appreciate their hospitality because I was there to celebrate the life of my father who had recently passed, and they made sure that we could check in when needed, check out late, and gave recommendations on everything I asked about. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place on the lake. The home is absolutely darling inside, it’s very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. I can’t forget to mention the dock where we spent a lot of our time watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Lake Palestine, this is it! I almost forgot to mention that we had left some stuff at the cabin and Joel was kind enough to send it to us all the way back in California. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your hospitality! "

"Jesse was a great host; always responded, check in and check out was simple and less requirements than most hosts! We came down from Oklahoma to spend some time with our TX grands. The house was set up to keep them entertained (as well as grandpa!). The house was clean and simple in design which made cleaning up and keeping up with grandkids easy and hassle free. The soaker tub in the main bedroom was definitely a bonus after a long day of traveling as well as a quiet respite once the grands went down for the night. Thank you! If you are looking for a low key place to relax and unwind, this should fit your needs perfectly. "
