This was my first stay in a b and b hotel and I stayed in another because of the good experience here. "We stayed during peak summer and temperatures were 35°C. We arrived via train and it is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and beach so the location was not ideal for us in the heat and on foot. We found the breakfast to be fantastic. "Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"
