Magical Little House on the Lake
This place provided the perfect 4 day getaway for our anniversary. The house is clean and comfortable. The lake views are beautiful just like the pictures show. The host, Cathy is warm and inviting with excellent communication skills. This was our first time staying in the Berkshires and we picked the perfect place to stay! We'd love to make this a yearly event.

Lake Tranquillity at its finest!
The cottage was clean, up to date, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. There were 2 docks in which we launched our Kayaks and fished. The deck was such a joy to sit on. As well as the glass enclosed 4 seasons room. Cathy our host was so helpful from start to finish. Shopping, restaurants and hikes wete only minutes away. I would gladly return!!!

The Best Lake Cottage
This adorable waterfront Lake Buel Cottage was exactly what we wanted for an extended weekend Anniversary Trip!!! Literally, step off of the back deck into the water/dock. The best dock around. Beautiful and easy access to the water. Loved leaving the back glass porch door open to hear the lake activities and birds, including hummingbirds. Access to two kayaks, canoe, and two standup paddle boards with oars/paddles and lifejackets was the best activity to take full advantage of this beautiful lake. Very thoughtful host: welcome gift, plenty of supplies, extra sheets and towels, and well stocked kitchenware. Absolutely beautiful location. Quiet neighbors even on a small lake with families playing. Will definitely book again!!!

No need to look any further!
If you have a smaller crew and are looking for the perfect property, this is it! Clean, comfortable and has almost anything you could need. It Is in the PERFECT location. We were able to walk practically anywhere we wanted to go and even when we did need to drive, it was a quick trip. Ruth was friendly and helpful in all of our communication. We will be staying again if she will have us!

Beach Heaven!
This house was perfect for our stay. So close to the beach and many restaurants. The yard was so nice for our younger adults to gather. The house was so clean and was nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this house for vacation. We are already thinking of renting again. 😄

Perfect little getaway
My husband and I wanted a few days of relaxation, a “mini-moon”, after our wedding. This was perfect! My husband fished while I read on the deck. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook dinner. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern and updated. We were so relaxed and comfortable. Cathy was very responsive and welcoming. Nearby downtown Great Barrington was fun with lots of cute restaurants and shops. We could definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous escape!!
We loved staying at Cathy's place. It was amazingly clean and updated. We had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The views from all the windows provided us with a perfect view of the lake. Would definitely recommend it and plan to come back again!!

Cozy Cottage
My husband and I are so glad we found this property - it was perfect for our winter weekend getaway. The cottage is cozy, clean and comfortable. There's a beautiful view of the lake from the main living area and lots of natural light. We weren't able to enjoy the deck because of the weather but seems like a great spot for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail.

Tranquil lake house just outside of town
The views! My husband and I booked this stay after to celebrate our second child finally sleeping through the night. A cause for celebration and relaxation! What I liked the best is the way the house is situated sort of elevated and protruding over the lake - you feel like you’re right in the middle of it. It’s beautiful. Highly recommend!

Amazing! This has the most amazing view off of the dining room balcony with the Fall colors.
This was simply amazing! The colors of Fall across the lake, the view of the mountains in the distance. Very clean, very cozy, very private. We are coming here again next Fall.

Fabulous!
We've stayed in our fair share of rental properties here and even in europe, and this is legitimately one of our favorites. The views of the water from every corner of the house are fantastic. The home was warm and welcoming. Great barrington was fun and so close. The owner was kind and very responsive. Can't recommend this home enough!

Cottage was beautiful, right on the water. Nice deck with a great view of the trees changing color across the lake. Nice place to sit out on and have a drink, quite and peaceful. Great location, on a private road in the woods but close enough to Great Barrington to find a place for a great meal. It was also nice to take the kayak out the lake. The Appalachian trail was close by, so got a day of hiking in. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Perfect Location & Spotless Property
Absolutely loved our stay! The property is spotless. Kitchen had all our needs. Location perfect for our likes. Short walk to beach, liquor store, WaWa and our favorite restaurant, The Terrace Tavern! Plenty of parking and an awesome backyard with table, grill and outdoor shower. Communication with owners excellent! Would definitely rent the property again and recommend to others!

Great house on the lake
My wife and I were able to get away for a three day trip and stayed here. The house was very clean, right on the lake, with a nice deck and furniture and lots of Kayaks and paddle boards. The kitchen is nice and large and the master bedroom is very comfortable and lots of closets throughout. Very close to hiking, shopping and we fished right off the dock. Cathy is very responsive to my emails and overall, we had a great time. Will definitely try to arrange time to come back.

Beautiful getaway but waiting to hear from property manager
We loved this cottage, and everything was exactly as pictured. The owner was great and communication was prompt and easy. However, we were asked by the owner to come a day later than planned due to COVID19 travel restrictions, and the property manager never reached out or responded to my claim for a refund for that night, during which we had to stay at a hotel. Wish I could have done business directly with the owner.
