We did not use the cooking facilities as had an overnight stay only. Air con & lifts were a little noisy. Had thought that restaurant strip/shops across the road may prove noisy but it didn't . "We spent 3 nights in the Garden City hotel on a visit to Canberra. It is well out of town for anything within walking distance but a 10-15 minute drive will get you anywhere you want to go. The hotel is well priced compared to others close to the CBD. The room was clean, the bed was big and firm and the shower was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The pressure available was tremendous. We did not have breakfast there, preferring to find a café a few minutes away so I cannot comment on...
