"Lovely stay at the White Lion Hotel. We stayed in room 9. Did say river view but wasn't visible from the room but was from outside. Could hear the water though which was lovely. The room was very big and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good. There wasn't any continental though. Would recommend."

A lovely big bathroom and good kitchen. No outside space to speak of but we sat in the small yard one afternoon. The lounge is great but could do with another arm chair to make it more comfortable for 4 adults and a couple of folding chairs for the yard would be handy. Otherwise perfect location - on the canal and a short walk to the...
