"Great location and a well kept hotel. Staffs are wonderful. They work hard taking care of the guests. The breafast was excellent with a large variety of food."

"The Pousada was excellent on all accounts, esp. staff and breakfast and on the edge of old town was perfect location a top priority for older guests. Loved it."

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."

The facilities are simple and rustic, which if that’s your thing, this place will be great. The architecture of the restaurant is fun, and there is a lot of greenery and living things to immerse yourself in nature. "
