"Comfortable and well equipped home from home. Welcoming and communicative hosts and an excellent guide to the local area. The parking disc was a handy and thoughtful idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cooked a few nights in, kitchen is fine and functional. The bath is large and lovely and the bed comfortable . One big comfy sofa with extra blankets would be an upgrade to the living room. Thank you! <3"

"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"We absolutely love this place been a few times now and every time is spot on perfect (wish we had some sugar and tea bags and milk for the room but will remember next time) brilliant as a dog friendly place, our pup loved it! "Good location with parking, slight issue with the parking as you are given an allocated spot but upon arrival there was a vehicle already parked in the spot, quick phone call and instructions given to park elsewhere which was fine. Entry door system was hit and miss, didn’t work upon arrival but then on return did the same thing but it worked. Stayed in a 2 bedroom but only one bathroom so if you were not from the same family it might cause a few issues. "

"The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled. We bought some descaler but it needs several attempts so we had to use a pan to heat water for drinks. The person in the accommodation...

Lovely place to stay.

"From the moment we arrived at reception we were exceedingly happy with our stay. The receptionists were delightful. Our room was airy, clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and lovely bathroom products. Breakfast was delicious with great options for meat eaters and vegans! And all the staff were pleasant and friendly. A lovely place to stay."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Had street view at front of hotel. Not able to open windows but not a major issue. Room had a large shower, and was very clean. Tea & coffee facilities were available and TV with plenty of channels. Overall very basic room but just what we needed. "

"Wonderful experience staying at the Milner in York. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the hotel is beautiful and exudes a calm and tranquil vibe. The superior twin room was spotless and very comfortable. Very large modern and bright bathroom and wide access rainfall shower. The lighting in the room was a bit dim for me but may suit others. Lovely pool which wasn’t busy. Good buffet breakfast which was leisurely and offered a wide variety of options. We requested a late checkout and as it was my birthday and courtesy of the hotel, I received a complimentary plate of delicious mini cakes which added to the special magic of this wonderful hotel. Staff go the extra mile and are happy to cater for any request. Ideally placed for walking around the stunning historic sites of York and jumping on the train home! Definitely recommended. "
