"A really lovely weekend at the Lakes Hotel and Spa. The Windermere Suite was amazing. Only areas of attention was no water freely available, had to queue at the bar for a glass of water so one day I was waiting 15 mins for a glass of water. I’ve never been to a spa that doesn’t have water jugs available on the side. Also the spa area got busy and a few more hooks would lead to less people using up the chairs to put their towels and robes on. A separate relaxation room for reading and lounging...

"Great welcome at check-in and staff were incredibly helpful and courteous throughout. We ate from the restaurant and bistro menus which were both excellent. Good choice of breakfast and great quality all served to the table, so no queuing for luke warm tea from a machine, or making our own toast. Great pool. Free parking was a bonus. It would have been an excellent rating overall except our room was in need of a refurb (although very clean still) and we could only get the radiator to be fully...

"We stayed for 2 nights and i was impressed with the hotel. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and selection was plentiful. The only down side was the parking £15 a day i think they should review that policy but overall A+++"
