"We spent one night in Ascona. Our Hotel room had the most beautiful view we've ever had (it was a lake view room). Apart from the balcony, the room was a normal hotel room, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and we were overall super happy with our stay. We would have stayed another night if our plans permitted. Parking is unfortunately not at the hotel though - it's in a public parking garage that's not directly next to the hotel."

The kitchen faucet was hard to open and close. I kept hitting the light fixture above dining table, was too low, and not in the center of the table. "DON'T BOOK. The Carducci 24 B&B no longer exists. We arrived on 1st October 2017 to find a hotel with its shutters down, gates locked and no answer from the bell or first 5 phone calls. Eventually got hold of the owner who told us they don't even live in Stresa and the hotel closed down ages ago. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
