"Pouring down when we arrived but warm and welcoming inside. Tastefully decorated and well equipped but no shops in the village so take essentials with you. Ideally situated for the estuary and railway station to travel to either Carmarthen or Tenby. Lovely beaches in Llansteffan and Burry Port with Kidwelly all within easy reach."

"We loved our stay here! Noreen's spot was clean, cosy and in the perfect location. A little tricky if you have a lot of luggage due to the stairs and distance from pullover spot, but worth it for the incredible view. Noreen provided plenty of useful instructions for accessing the building, car parking and taking out the bins. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Noreen!"

"The bathroom heater didn't work and we didn't have a hair dryer but another property on site leant us one so there was no issues. Other than that a lovely peaceful place to stay. Property management very friendly and helpful."

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"Beautiful quaint little property. A welcome change from the general pace of life. We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage, Christina who owns the property was the perfect host. There was plenty of room for our dog to run around in the outside and even though it was November it was clear that the gardens were amazing. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

"Stayed at the Ivy Bush many times, this time for a bargain price of £58 per couple (including breakfast). The rooms are a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The staff are attentive, even during a busy Xmas party weekend. The breakfast was plentiful and the car park was free. Will certainly be returning."

"The reception was very good and helpful, the restaurant food was amazing and the staff very attentive, the room however although looked good there was a large amount of cobwebs, in the bathroom area and a number of flys on and around the bath, the tiles had a large amount of water marks and the taps and shower had water marks and scale. The standard double was two beds put together so a very uncomfortable night sleep as well kept going down the dip in the middle"
