Relax and enjoy your stay on a sought after Terrace in South Kensington in our Grade II listed house that was once the home of actress Julie Christie.
The property is a spacious and light house with a comfortable contemporary feel. All appliances fittings and furnishings are high quality and we aim to provide you with the same level of comfort you enjoy in your own surroundings and ensure you can relax in comfort.
The raised entrance to the house takes you into a mirrored hallway and to your left is the spacious living room. Relax on a large comfy three seater sofa or armchairs, use of a flat screen Smart TV with Sky TV and all TV apps and a decorative fireplace with a working gas fire.
Wooden steps take you down to the lower ground floor to an open plan large light fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area.
The kitchen is ideal for those who enjoy cooking and is fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need to eat in or entertain friends,
Two electric Neff ovens, a six ring gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender toaster, kettle and quooker tap.
Full set of saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses and linen are supplied. There is a fully stocked cupboard of cooking essentials like spices, oils and of course we provide plenty of bin bags, dishwasher cubes and washing up liquid etc.
We have a washing machine/dryer in a separate laundry room with washing powder so you can do your own laundry if you wish.
We have an extendable glass dining table that can seat up to 8 people in the middle dining area and the living area of the room has a seating area with a large sofa and armchair and flat screen Smart TV with Sky TV. This daybed has often been used a sleep space for younger guests as well.
Large glass doors open out fully onto a private garden which is an unusual bonus with a central London home! We have a dining table for four if you wish to dine al fresco and two large loungers for relaxing outside when the weather is good.
On the first floor is a very spacious study which is ideal for those on business travel. We have a desk, printer, wifi and the space is arranged so that you can host a business meeting in comfort if needed. The room also has a new double sofa bed with a mattress topper and full bedding supplied.
The second bedroom is also on the first floor and has a very comfortable queen bed with lots of storage in the wall to wall full height fitted wardrobes and drawer units. We also have a standing fan if you need it during the summer. The bathroom used by this bedroom is bathroom 2 on the half landing up to the first floor and contains a stand alone bath and sink unit and an18th century original stain glass window as a feature.
On the top floor is the main bedroom and en-suite bathroom. This bedroom is air conditioned and features a 6ft 6" x 6ft 6" bed and ample storage in the wall to wall full height wardrobe space and drawer units.
The en-suite bathroom has two sinks and a walk in wet room style shower.
Quality cotton bed linens and pillows and duvets are supplied and a large number of towels are freshly laundered prior to your stay.
Both bathrooms are stocked up with shampoo, conditioners and shower gels.
A cleaner visit is included on a weekly basis if you are staying for over a week. We can provide more frequent help for a supplement if required.
If you have a car there is metered parking at street parking bays. There are plenty in the local area and you can use your smartphone to pay for parking. There are also car parks nearby and private parking can be sourced on the justpark app.
There are a number of local tube stations for getting around town.

We are experienced hosts and want to ensure that you have a relaxed stay at our property. We are on hand to welcome you and will be contactable throughout your stay.
