Wonderful apartment, conveniently located
Two of my kids (aged 17 and 14) and I stayed in London for nearly a week, and felt so lucky to have found this charming apartment, so close to a tube station and such a quiet neighborhood! Ashley, the host, was wonderful and accommodating, as well as responsive to my questions. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will return if able! We were able to explore the city, and it was safe enough that my younger son was able to wander around alone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful little place!
Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 young adult children) absolutely loved this place for our first visit to London! The beautiful, quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the Earl’s Cross station and a Tesco grocery store made this an easy place to stay. The flat itself was lovely, especially for a family used to sharing space and traveling together. We were delighted to find a place with two bathrooms, and we used them both, but some parties may not be able to because the second one is very tiny—people of large stature may not fit into the shower opening, as it is quite narrow. We shared the master bath when we needed more space or better lighting. The beds were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains in the bedrooms were a plus for sleeping in a land where the sun rises so early! We were able to make breakfast and pack lunches in the kitchen, and even made a couple of dinners. The washing machine was also helpful, and the drying racks and fans provided had our clothes dry overnight. All in all, a wonderful stay! We would definitely return!

Earl's Court Flat
We enjoyed our time and accomodations in London. The property was nice and clean, as advertised. The proximity to the tube station could not have been better. We would have rated this property higher had it been closer to more restaurants.

Amazing flat in Earls Court
The location was amazing for getting to the tube station but also lots of amenities close by such as a Tesco and lots of shops! The unit is spacious, clean and has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Nick is very welcoming and accommodating. It would be hard to think one could find a better place with such ease of access, especially for three or four vacationers. Thank you!

Great London trip!
A great flat to explore London! Location close to tube and local grocer. If the tv in the lounge had worked it would have greatly improved my overall rating. Having the one in the master bedroom made it a bit awkward. Would definitely stay there on my next trip!

Quiet street in busy neighborhood
Good sized apartment close to underground and restaurants, large Tesco supermarket a block away. Lovely park garden behind the building for residents only, nice view but no access. East/west orientation of windows needs better shades or curtains to block sunlight on those rare sunny days. The second shower did not work our entire stay and we were not offered a discount or partial refund for the inconvenience, despite this apartment charging more rent for a second bathroom. Nick kindly bought us a bottle of wine as an apology, but only having one shower made it a hassle for us all to get ready for our tours, etc. each day.

Wonderful flat in London!
We absolutely loved this flat! Our flights were delayed coming into London and the owner and cleaning lady kept in touch with us to ensure they would be there to greet us when we arrived. One of the guests with us was an older lady and the cleaning lady was very nice to help us with her luggage up the stairs. The flat is very modern and has a spacious living area. The rooms are a great size for the four of us to stay comfortably. Having two bathrooms helped tremendously with 4 women staying together. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The flat is tucked away on a block that doesn't have much traffic so that was very nice. The flat is a short walk from the Earls Court tube station. There are a ton of restaurants nearby, a huge Tesco right around the corner where you can buy any groceries you may need while you stay. Nick was always available via text if we had any questions regarding the apartment. We were very happy with our stay here and I would recommend this flat to anyone that is visiting London.

Nice, clean flat with a perfect location
Our stay at Earls Court was great! Nick always responded quickly to any questions I had. He was able to accommodate an early check in and was there to meet us upon arrival. The location was perfect. We were very close to a tube station, 1/2 block to grocery store and 1-2 blocks to restaurants. The flat was a good size for our party of 5. Beds were comfortable. The WiFi worked great! A few things that could be changed are having more that one frying pan. We cooked breakfast most days so only having one made this a longer process. Also the bathroom locks didn’t work. There was no curtain on the front window, which for privacy reasons would’ve been nice. New shower heads is also recommended. With just those minor changes I would rate this 5 stars! Overall I would recommend this flat for your stay in London!

Great location and good ambience!
We really enjoyed our stay. Very good for two couples although the second bedroom is much smaller than the master. Host very responsive when short of toilet paper. Improvement would be somewhere to hang clothes while drying (eg folding dryer rack and / or hooks in bathroom to attach a line), and more rods to hang towels in the bathroom.

Great location, accurate pictures, clean and well cared for
Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed here for 4 nights in August. The pictures are very accurate. The condo was clear and well stocked. We were able to take advantage of the washer/dryer. The shower head in the master bath needs some repair and does spray water in multiple directions. The condo is perfectly located just a few blocks from the Tube and made getting around very easy. Even though there is no A/C, we left the windows open at night to cool off and the neighborhood is very quiet for being so centrally located. The owner was very gracious in helping us get some soccer tickets that we ordered and needed to be shipped and picked up my a local resident. He really went out of his way to accommodate us. Only challenge I would comment on has been getting our damage deposit refunded in a timely manner but I would expect that to be resolved quickly too based on how good the service was with this unit. Would recommend this condo to friends or family traveling to London.

Lovely, roomy apartment with two bathrooms!
Our second year in a row. The apartment is starting to show a little wear, but it was still great for our needs. The bathroom in the large bedroom is so nice and roomy, but the one in the hall was a bit too small for the taller member of our party. The mattress in the large bedroom sags a bit on one side. But the size and location of the flat couldn't be better for our week in town (attending a book fair at Olympia).

Well appointed and updated flat in a convenient location
We enjoyed staying here. Nick couldn’t have been nicer. He met us as soon as we landed and arrived by the tube from Heathrow. The flat is updated and modern and has everything you need. We loved being able to make breakfast and coffee before sight-seeing London. This flat is close to Earls Court tube and positions you on the District and Piccadilly Lines which is really convenient. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the tv and WiFi was a little glitchy and that was our primary means of communication to friends and family back home. But it could have been user error - not sure! Thanks for a lovely visit Nick! I recommend and would return again!

Beautiful, Modern, Clean, Great location, and Nick was excellent
We loved our stay in this beautiful modern Kensington flat. Everything looks brand new and very clean. I loved the views from every room. There is a beautiful church on a quiet road outside the front window, and a lovely park out the back window. It was very quiet, other reviews mentioned construction nearby but there was none, others mentioned being able to hear the people above, and I never heard a peep. I was worried from one review that there were only 2 towels, luckily this was not the case. I was pleasantly surprised that were inflatable air mattress, I have 3 little boys so that came in very handy. Nick was waiting right on time, and lives nearby and was extremely kind and helpful. I really loved our stay and didn’t want to leave!!! I wanted to come back again during our London visit but it was already booked! I hope to come back soon though!!! Thank you Nick!!! Best Regards, Katherine and Rory

Annette E., Tulsa,

Quiet spot in London!
As a 12 year VRBO owner and someone who has rented apartments and houses all over the world for the last 17 years, I am pretty picky. We were given a warm welcome by Nick as we arrived at the apartment and a bottle of wine was also waiting for us. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures although the living room furniture has some stains on the couch that perhaps could be gotten out with special cleaning. The apartment is near Earl's Court tube station and just a block from a big Tesco grocery store which is a real plus. There are a number of restaurants perhaps 3 blocks away. Considering how nicely done the the apartment is overall there were 3 things that surprised us. With probably 12'-14' high ceilings, we were surprised that we could hear every step of the people above us and in some cases we could actually hear them talking at a normal level. The towels as another reviewer wrote are about the thickness of a paper towel - they do need new fluffy towels for a rental of this quality (an easy fix). The other odd thing was that the showers are all marble walls and yet there is no place for the bar of soap except to drop it on the floor. The building abutting this rental is completely shrouded in blue construction webbing but luckily we heard little construction noise at all. We never needed to contact Nick once we were there but he lives close in case there are any concerns and is very quick to respond. This is a very nice rental!

Wonderful apartment. Great location.
This was our first time in London. We did our research, and this apartment was one of the best we found. For the money, cannot beat it. For a family of 5 - two adults and three kids - it was perfect size. Two bathrooms is a huge plus - many apartments we looked at had only one. Location is excellent - less than 5 minute walk to Earl Court underground station. 1.3 miles to Kensington gardens. If you walk a lot (we do) you can walk there in under 15 minutes. Otherwise, 2 stops on the underground. You are 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants. There is also a 24 hr supermarket 2 minutes away. The proprietor - Nick - was very attentive. We lost the internet one day, he immediately called the provider, and it was up and running within 30 minutes. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We'll definitely stay there again next time we are in London.

Very Nice Stay, great location/accomodations.
My family and I had a nice weeklong stay at 76 Philbeach Gardens. Great location with close proximity to Earl's Court tube station and Tesco supermarket. The apartment was almost perfect for the family - two adults and two kids (8 & 10 yrs old). Nick was very responsive before and during our stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Loved London - the attractions, pubs, ease of getting places (tube/train) and international travel without any language barrier.

A Great Place to Stay
We stayed in the apartment for 8 days at the end of July and found it suited the needs of 4 adults perfectly. It is well located, close to Earls Court tube station, the shops and restaurants of Earls Court and within walking distance of High St Kensington. The apartment is well furnished with good natural light and a well equipped kitchen. The photos are an accurate depiction of the property. Nick the manager was extremely helpful and attended to all our questions and needs. With restricted parking on the street for a hire car he sourced some cheap parking nearby which was really convenient. All in all a great stay - thanks Nick.

Great Location
This apartment had so much going for it in terms of location: close to the Earl's Court Underground with its District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. Short walk to a big Tesco's. Quiet street, quiet bedrooms looking out onto a private garden. Short walk to the many restaurants on Earl's Court road. The owner provided us with a mid-week cleaning and clean linen. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We were also provided with a welcome basket of wine and fruit. This apartment could so easily be a 5 star. However, a number of things let it down. The kitchen was very poorly-equipped. Very few kitchen utensils, making it almost impossible to cook anything (a warped fry pan, no mixing bowls or measuring cups, no roasting/baking pans, no colander, no paring knives, etc.) I had to ask for a bread knife. No salt, pepper, sugar or other condiments (I have stayed in many, many self-catering apartments over the years and there were always some condiments provided). No hand towels, no dish cloth, 1 tea towel and thin bath towels. We ended up going out to eat every night, which somewhat defeats the concept of self-catering. At night, the living room was like living in a fish bowl. As you can see from the photo, there are no drapes in the living room and you can look directly into the apartments across the road and they can see into your apartment. The tree doesn't really block the view. All these deficiencies can be easily remedied and if done, then the apartment would be deserving of 5 stars.
