"We loved our stay at the Lake Tekapo Village Motel! The location is excellent--our room looked out on the lake and we were within minutes walk of the lake and all the main attractions such as the church and the Dark Sky Project. The staff were so friendly and happy to accomodate all of our needs. "The Executive Studio was spacious, clean and in a new condition, and had all the kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook your own food. Parking space was easy to find. The reception staff was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about attractions in the area and nearby. She also stayed a little longer after the office hours to process our check-in as we arrived after the reception opening hours. So thank you. "What looks like an old motel from the outside first impressions turns out pretty damn good inside. I had a one bedroom apartment and was really ok inside. Had everything you needed. No oven but a double hob . Plenty of pop up eateries just on the other side each evening and also coffee vans in the morning. "

"It is a nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the town center with shops, restaurants and supermarket. Unfortunately, the management didn't clean the apartment thoroughly because there was still strong odor (food smell / cooking from previous occupants). Also there was no paper towels or dish / cleaning cloths in the kitchen. Good thing was that the bedrooms upstairs were not impacted by the odor."

"Apartment for 4 is slightly small but clean and comfortable. The sofa bed may not be the most comfortable but the beds are comfortable. Beautiful scenery right outside the unit as you can see the mountains and lake right beside it."
