Located in the heart of Margate’s Old Town is Cobb Court. This cosy two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to four guests making it perfect for a family staycation, a couples retreat or a small group getaway for friends. You'll have exclusive use of the property which includes an open plan kitchen and lounge area with a large breakfast bar, two twin bedrooms and a modern bathroom so you’ll have everything you could need for a self-catering stay by the coast at Cobb Court.
The Space:
Cobb Court has a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Comfortable and homely, the living space includes a large corner sofa, a foot stool and a flat screen TV making it a great place to unwind.
Fully equipped, the kitchen benefits from modern appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily. The dining area features a breakfast style bar and six bar stools.
Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are tranquil spaces with blue feature walls, crisp white bed linens and comfy twin single beds.
The family bathroom boasts a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and wash basin.
Outside you’ll find a patio with a dining table. A great space for enjoying al fresco meals with your loved ones, this outdoor space is a real added bonus!

Guests have access to the full property. The keys are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
There are two private parking spaces to the front of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Margate is an exciting seaside resort on England’s South East coast. Situated on the Isle of Thanet overlooking the North Sea, Margate boasts beautiful sandy beaches and a long pier for leisurely walks and fishing. In recent years, it has become a cultural hub with the opening of the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery and the iconic Dreamland amusement park.
The town also hosts various cultural events and festivals throughout the year, such as Margate Soul Festival, the UK’s biggest soul music festival, attracting both locals and tourists.
Margate’s Old Town offers charming streets filled with boutiques, galleries, and cafes, making it a popular destination for art, shopping, and dining.

Enter this subterranean passageway that is studded with an incredible 4.6 million shells, creating a magical mosaic of interesting patterns and symbols. Still to this day, no one knows how, why or where this hidden treasure has come from…
If you're looking for something a little different, pop down to the largest tidal pool in the UK. Walpole Bay Tidal Pool is a Grade II-listed structure perfect for swimming on a beautiful sunny day or on a frosty morning for a refreshing quick dip. Close by you can also find mini golf, tennis court, cafe and indoor bowls for some additional fun.
Getting Around:
Margate rail station is a few minutes’ drive or a 15-minute walk from Cobb Court with regular routes to London, Canterbury and Ashford.
The nearby towns of Dover and Whitstable can be reached via car under 50 minutes so Kent can be explored easily. The popular city of Canterbury can be reached in 45 minutes and the beautiful town of Broadstairs is a short 10-minute drive away too!
If you’re looking to explore via bus during your stay, Margate is serviced by ‘The Loop’. This runs every day and connects Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.
