"I loved my stay here. This is an excellent choice if you're doing an extended visit and want a no-frills place. The area felt safe and had a ton of places to eat. "Great location. We had a room at the back, so it was also very quiet. Room was good value for the price. No fridhe or coffee in the room. Walkable to many restaurants and the local sites. Our one big problem was that we had only cold water in the shower for our three night stay. Also the water in the bathroom sink only came out in a small dribble. "We had a wonderful stay at Casa Riviera. The room was huge, and the kitchen and everything we could have wanted to prepare breakfast and coffee each morning. The balcony was gorgeous although would have liked an umbrella to create some shade. A great location as only 5 mins to walk to the beach and town. "When I got there the owner didnt speak english as it said on hotels.com. She also tried to get me to pay in cash with pesos even though we had agreed the previous night that I would pay with my credit card and be charged in US dollars and she would pay for the 3% conversion fee.
