Or stay was very relaxing. We had a wedding to go to, so we decided to make it a small mini family vacation. The home is very spacious , very clean and in a great location. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Definitely would rent again at a later time

Great stay
We were in the area for a wedding. The house was great. Hot tub was fabulous. Beautiful couple of days. Just one note for safety: the metal railing on the left side of the steps from the driveway heading up to the house is coming loose or rather, is very, very loose so as to not be useable. Just could be a bit dangerous particularly at night. Otherwise, was absolutely lovely.

Perfect Family Vacation!
We had the best time! The layout of the house is perfect for a family! We played ping pong and pool. My son’s favorite part was the hot tub. Super close to so much hiking and Hudson Valley must sees.

We had a great stay here and enjoyed the beautiful forest surrounding this house. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, large back decks and had plenty of room inside to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The fold out bed in the office did not appear very comfortable but we did not need to use it. Communication was very good with the propertyy managers when we had a question. We love visiting the Catskills and would definitely choose to stay here again.

We were so happy to send the wk in this lovely house. Perfectly situated close to towns but secluded enough that it really felt like an escape from the city. Pool table - awesome, hot tub - awesome, reading in front of the fireplace - awesome.

Fun Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Esopus Escape! It provided an adequate choice of activities inside and out to keep all our family members active and entertained. We liked the very private off the road setting which allowed us to see deer and other wildlife wander by. The pool was refreshing and we wished that our weather would have been better to enjoy it more. We did have an issue with a leak but the response from a very friendly management personnel was quick to check it out. The kitchen was well-equipped and great to use. Loved the open concept design of the main living space! It would definitely be a consideration for us to book this rental again in the future. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant!

A serene escape from the world
This house is the perfect city getaway. Situated among acres of trees, we completely disconnected while staying there. The hot tub was comfortable, the gas fireplace is convenient and cozy, the open floor plan and spacious living area facilitate conversations while prepping meals and the game room in the basement crowns a fun and light weekend as a family. We strongly recommend this house.

Perfect for us!!
This beautiful house was perfectly appointed and had everything we were looking for. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen for our many chefs! The hot tub was wonderful and we absolutely loved the decor. Very cozy. The only problem we had was that we saw a photo of the piano and that was one of the reasons we chose this house. But it turns out you have to make a special request with the owner to get the location of the key that unlocks the keyboard. The communication back and forth with the management coupled with the fact that we were not always in the house so couldn't search in the locations they said to look right when they suggested them, meant that by the time we got access to the key, it was almost time for us to leave. I would still highly recommend this property, I would just suggest asking ahead about the key if you want access to piano. BTW, the piano did have a beautiful sound once we opened, so I can understand why they are protective of it. We would definately stay here again.

Cozy Retreat in the Woods
I booked this house for a girls getaway weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for! The house was cozy yet open with enough space to not feel cramped. The fireplace was perfect for relaxing, drinking wine and eating dinner! Everything was clean, updated, trendy/modern and the rooms felt like we were in a hotel! Wineries, restaurants, and shops were only a 15-25 min drive. We booked ubers ahead of time so that we didn't have to wait when calling on demand. Home Sweet Hudson was also very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiry we had. I would highly recommend the company and this house. We hope to book the house again for future stays!

Beautiful house with fabulous possibilities
We loved this beautiful comfortable house with a great open layout for the common rooms. The swimming pool is accessed from a large deck attached to the house, perfect for watching the kids playing in the water. Unfortunately the house was not well managed. We arrived ten minutes before the 4:00PM check in to find the housed cleaner had not yet finished. The house was generally clean, expect for a really filthy oven and fridge that I wiped down before using. The digital house manual provided a video that taught us how to convert the basement room couch into a Murphy bed, but we had to search for bed linens in a disorganized laundry room closet. This was also the case for the couch in the office. When I asked about a water filter I was informed that the refrigerator provided filtered water but the change water filter light was on for both water and ice. I called the "host" agency to let them know that there was a leak dripping from the ceiling onto the pool/pingpong table in the basement. They said they would send their maintenance crew the next day to fix it and take care of all of our concerns but it never happened. The most disappointing thing was not being able to use the hot tub. Although they said it was ready for use, it was not, and I never got a reply from my messages to the host for how to make it work. It's a real shame because this is an absolutely beautiful house which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if it was better managed.

Fun, well-designed, and appealing retro house
The house is just as beautiful as you would guess from the photos. We loved the actual pool, the pool table, the record players and vinyl record collection. The air conditioning worked remarkably well in the hot summer, and you'll find the house well stocked and functional. The nearby Lake Minnewaska is truly beautiful, our swim there was delightful, and the trails around it are also stunning. Our favorite activity was renting bikes (New Paltz Biking) and riding the nice flat trails to the special outdoors Rail Trail Cafe, where the food, spirit, and space are remarkable. My kids loved the ride, and it was almost 11 miles round trip. :) Thanks!

Amazing Stay!
There aren't enough lovely things to say about this property. The stay was absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to be back to enjoy again! From the fully stocked (and spacious!) kitchen to extermely comfortable and well-appointed spaces, this is a no-brainer when booking for you/your family for a quick getaway. Plus, great proximity to all Kingston has to offer.

Amazing Getaway!
This house was perfect! Clean, comfortable, stylish and relaxing. It was the perfect getaway for a relaxing family weekend. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or to get some personal space. Amazingly stylish decor and first-rate furnishings. Quiet secluded property allowed privacy and peace and quiet. It was a perfect break from the city!
