I love the staff and this property. It's my hotel of choice, while I'm in Manhattan, but, this stay didn't happen. My wallet and id were stolen on the 31st. I still had a photo of my id in my phone from a PayPal verification I needed to take care of. They let me use the photo, once, but, wouldn't let me use the id, again, for the second night (this booking). I lost my money and my night at the hotel. I ended up having to stay in diners and cafes all night, since that was my budget for the day. I've spent a LOT of money at this property and they have my id on file. I just hit a run of bad luck. They could have been more understanding, considering I know, like, and get along with all the staff. It was extremely inconvenient, costly, and cold treatment, when I expected it to be kinder and more accepting.

The sheets were dirty when I went to get in bed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst part...I found a bug on the bed the next morning. The hotel supposedly refunded part of the bill, but then I had to reach out to Expedia to get me money back. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received my refund. I did reach out to Expedia, but no one responds. I'm very unhappy with the situation.

We liked the location. The hotel is close to the Broadway shows and attractions. We appreciated the accessible room and the cleanliness. Everything was fine except for checkout. One of the staff rather rudely told the crowd of guests more than once to form one line. If that’s the rule, then have a sign saying so or rope it off!

This hotel is safe and clean, and located conveniently for NYC to-do lists! Recommend the Westway Diner nearby. I LOATHE the facilities/resort fee, as I do not see any value added by this obvious money-grab. We only slept in the hotel, so being charged an extra $20 a day is not appreciated. Otherwise, the staff is great and held our luggage before we had to go the the train station. Recommend the Belvedere.

We were going to see Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre and it was ONE block away. Convenient, walkable, theatre and restaurants nearby. Go to The Blue Dog for brunch - best omelette we ever had! It is about a two block walk. Hotel was quiet, good size rooms for NYC, staff was friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend.

TBelvedere is in a perfect location that is close to the Theater Disctict, subways and wonerful eating places. The only drawback is the elevator system in the hotel. I have stayed here a few times. Each time one of the only two main elevators were not functioning.

It is an old, dark, dimly lit building. Our room was filthy - trash in the wastebasket, dirty bandaid on the floor, hair on the bed and crumbs all around the room. We left immediately.
