It had everything we could need including a Welcome pack - Information about house, wifi code, heating instructions, local area, busses, shops, etc. The moment we opened the door it felt welcoming, smelt nice, was warm, clean & immaculate decor. So many little extras :- UHT milk, tea bags, coffee, washing tablets, plenty of loo roll, tissues and more besides. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. "Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. "We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"Not at at all the property portrayed on the Internet. A few good features, but mainly tired and in need of renovation. Awful location...late night disturbances outside property late at night. Would never return to this property again. I would expect a response from Vrbo!"

"Host was friendly, helpful & communicative in advance of stay. Mid-terraced house close to city center & train and metro stations. On-street parking tight, double-parked along the road, one side parking half on the pavement. 3 single beds in the downstairs bedroom & 1 double bed upstairs. Upstairs bedroom didn't have anywhere to store clothes so we had to live out of suitcases. Lounge had dining table & 4 chairs, writing desk & extra chair under stairs.
