"Extremely well trained staff to take care of your needs. Very nice and receptive. Location is excellent if you want to visit the Nijo Castle but minimal shopping and dining around hotel. Hotel does have a Michelin Star restaurant which was offering free breakfast and dinner during our stay. No gym, no spa and no pool. Rooms were great very spacious with an open feeling. Ours had an elevated dining area on tatami mats. Room safe, well stocked refrig and huge shower and bath."

"We received a clean and spacious room. Not only was the property pet-friendly, but it was also clear that the staff also loves pets. Staff were very helpful. They have a chalkboard on which they list the pets staying with them that day! I prepared diapers and potty pads for my dog, but they provide all of these on site as well. "Very nice traditional house. Very clean. The host is very friendly and accommodating. However this house is best suited for 4 people or less, not for 6 people nor people that has problem going up steep stairs as the two bedrooms are upstairs. Also, with only 1 shower it is not convenient for 6 people that wanted to shower. The other two people had to find another place to stay since it was super cramped."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho. The place is in a nice and quite neighborhood and has a very traditional Japanese feel to it. We were able to have our luggage forwarded to the main hotel from our last destination and the front staff were extremely helpful. "This is a small quiet hotel with clean comfortable rooms with a relaxing decor. Very friendly and helpful staff and if you reserve in advance you can get a private lovely breakfast.
