"We like staying at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel. This is our second time staying here. The room is clean and spacious. It's super quiet as well. The staff and services are great. There are nice restaurants located in the Great Food Town which is across from the hotel. We like to walk over and eat at our favorite hot pot restaurant then shop at the Sapporo drug store. "Great location. Excellent breakfast and incredible facility for kids to play all day. Walking distance from Yehliu geopark and aquarium. Hotel is accessible by bus from Taipei Main Station but you would need to walk for about 10 mins or so."

"The best things about this resort is the staff. There is very limited dining. We were told to walk to the 711, but the neighborhood was so sketchy that we came back to take a taxi. The staff were nice and called the taxi. The taxi driver was hostile when we wanted to pay with a credit card. We were exhausted and not yet picked up any Taiwanese money. He refused to take us to an atm. He got out of the car and yelled at us so much that the lady from the front desk heard him and she graciously paid...
