"The views from the common area were beautiful. However, our room was tiny, no space to move about in at all. The breakfast provided was good but the spread somewhat stingy. You had to ask for that second cup of coffee for example, and the cold cuts and cheeses platter looked meager."

"Rooms lovely and spacious, bed a little soft but comfortable. But the air conditioner was so noisy one couldn’t have it on while trying to sleep! I did report it and hopefully it will be addressed. The rooms were really nicely furnished spacious and very comfortable. For a hotel if this standard I thought they could have moisturiser and hand towels and washers in the bathrooms and tissues that didn’t disintegrate at the slightest sign of use, but annoying as those elements are it probably...

"My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. The lodge is in a beautiful quiet area of Waiheke and convenient to beaches, restaurants and wineries. We couldn’t get over how serene the area is. Perfect...
