"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). There are a couple of restaurants nearby, including a great Savoyarde spot across the street. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main village of...

"Food: good but expensive. Room: shockingly small although very clean. The worst aspect of the room was that there was no A/C which we would have expected for the price of the room. The area was noisy (loud music which we were not sure whether it was coming from the hotel or elsewhere) and the hotel is on a main road so our sleep was disturbed if we kept the balcony door open. In the end we decided to close it to have some peace but we were sweltering. I tried to call reception to ask about...

The hotel manager Julie had offered her sincere help for our logistics to hotel and even we arrived late at hotel, the restaurant manager was provided us a warm welcome with delicious dishes after our long hours drive. The restaurant food and suna is amazing. The staff attitude to help and think for their customers are much appreciated "
