"Room: - Spacious and clean room - bed would make a weird noise but other than that, the bed was comfortable with nice linens and pillows - Spotless bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries ( I appreciated the bathrobes & slippers) Amenities: - flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, & coffee maker are pretty convenient - the pool was heated & well maintained Location: - Convenient location with restaurants and attractions nearby - Carmel beach is just about a 6 minute drive from there Service: - Friendly and helpful staff - they’re dog friendly but in certain areas which I appreciate. Overall Rating: 8.5/10 Summary: I had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Carmel. Looking forward to returning on my next trip!"

"There was only 1 representative during check in on a Friday. She was pleasant and helpful. The room was tucked away in quiet corner and close to variety of food places. It’s a short leisurely walk to the convention center with many restaurants along the walk. Nothing fancy with this lodging. Clean convenient. "

"I enjoyed the spa and the grounds were nice. Only thing I didn't like is the restaurant on the golf course charges an automatic gratuity and I didnt notice and tipped again so I gave like a 40% tip by mistake and then the coffee ran out and noone refilled it for the next 45mins til I had to leave after I told them and waiting a while and thought they got it started but then 30mins later went back in and asked if the coffee was ready yet and they hadn't even put a new pot on so I went about my day and went back the next day and told the manager and they gave me a free cup the next day so at least they kind of made up for the inconvenience on day 1. The hotels.com charges and what they try to charge at checkout are a lot different where youll end up paying for a resort fee and parking per night too which was unexpected and I complained so they ended up matching the hotels.com price to make up for it so I was glad that although I had a few issues, ultimately they did help and fix them for me unlike a lot of other places. Would def return again."
