This property had the most calming atmosphere, visual brilliance, stimulating acoustics and friendly staff. Our accommodations were perfect for the short stay and access to events and sightseeing was appreciated. The resort itself did not disappoint. Everything was as advertised. But Chris the owner is Mr Scrooge. Overpriced food and drinks. Even based on other resorts in the area. We went on a fishing charter and he said he would charge us full price on any fish caught. We spoke to another resort and restaurant and they both said they would only charge a corkage so to speak as they could on sell the rest of the fish which would be acceptable. Charges for a taxi at 150 tala when we could get for 80 tala for the same trip. We wouldn’t mind him making coin on the service but to charge almost double is outrageous. Ceiling fans in the restaurant area wouldn’t go astray. The staff are absolutely amazing and beautiful humans
