"I booked this stay for my grandsons 5th birthday and my daughters 24th birthday and my spring break fully expecting iffy weather. I thought the room was perfect for people watching and being able to watch the ocean when it was too windy out. It had plenty of space for my 1 & almost 5 yr old grandbabies to play. The pool was perfect temperature & the hot tub as well. A very short walking distance to downtown shopping and fun and next door to the aquarium!! Pictures (out the window) really don’t...

"The hotel is a true gem - cannot beat the location and amenities. However, having to pay a "guarantee" of $40.00 to check in early (2:00 rather than 4:00) was a bit over the top when you are looking at a mid-$300 room. We have stayed at many higher end hotels and I have never seen this before. It wasn't the dollars - it was the idea."
