Wellington's Oriental Bay Beach is regarded by many as the city's own miniature Riviera. With one of the most prestigious addresses and some of the finest houses in the capital, the beach and promenade of Oriental Bay are well worth a visit. However, for those who choose to drive, there is parking by the promenade and adjacent to Freyberg Pool. There are toilet facilities at the beach, and there is also wheelchair access to nearby Freyberg Beach.
